To remove and install your pedals, you will need either a pedal wrench or allen key tool. Our service department can assist you with the proper tool.
As you face either the Drive Side or Non-Drive Side, turn the tool towards the rear of the bike to loosen the pedals.
As you face either the Drive Side or Non-Drive Side, turn the tool towards the front of the bike to tighten the pedals.
When installing pedals, make sure you use the correct pedal on each side, grease the threads and simply snug them tight. Over-tighting will strip them out. If the pedals come with washers, make sure to use them.
If you strip your cranks, don't worry! We have tools and thread-inserts to repair your cranks.
